In this guide, we’ll give you the scoop on what you need to know before buying Austin FC single match tickets. We’ll walk you through the 2022 home schedule, talk about the best matches to attend, point out the advantages of the different seat sections in Q2 Stadium and compare prices of different games.
First, let’s just get something out of the way: all home games will sell out this season. Last year the club reported sell-outs for every match at the 20,738-seat stadium—it will undoubtedly happen this season too.
But, that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to find tickets.
While about 15,500 seats are held by season tickets members, the club has reserved several thousand single match tickets to sell for every home game. Plus, hundreds of season ticket members will sell their own tickets to individual games during the season.

Austin FC Home Game Schedule for 2022
Austin FC has a total of 17 home games for the 2022 MLS season. Of these games, 13 take place on a weekend; only four matches occur during the week (one is on a Friday). Tickets for games in the middle of the week can be cheaper, with more seating options, and a 7pm or later start time should help you avoid rush hour traffic.
New to the schedule this season, the club faces several Eastern conference foes for the very first time, including Inter Miami (March 6), Orlando City (May 22), and New York Red Bulls (July 24).
Games against in-state rivals include FC Dallas (June 25) and Houston Dynamo (July 12). Note: we play each of these Texas teams only one time at home this year.

Not matter which home game you go to this season you can bet your sweet bippy you’ll have a good time. Win or lose, fans rave about the matchday atmosphere at Q2 Stadium.

- Nashville SC (Sept. 17)—battle of music cities waged between the two newest Western conference members

Q2 Stadium Seating Chart
Depending on the match, tickets prices for a single seat can vary from approximately $31 for a GA Supporter ticket to $1,500+ for a Field Seat (next to the team bench).
GA Supporter seats (101-105) are generally the least expensive and offer a unique experience to be among Austin FC Supporter Groups to stand, chant, and sing throughout the match—right in the thick of the action with La Murga, Verde smoke, flags, and beer showers.
Some of the most expensive seats (1-10, 109-116, 132), located mostly midfield on the lower level, offer the best views in Q2 as well as an all-inclusive club space where food, beer and wine are included in the ticket price.
North end seats (120-127) put you right among the player celebration if Austin scores on the North goal. You’ll also be up close with some of the spouses and partners of Austin FC players. Another bonus is that the Beer Hall and Verde Store are right behind you.
Know before you go: seats on the West side of Q2 Stadium will be shadier before the sun goes down, which can be after 9 pm in the summer months.
This may sound cliché, but you really can’t go wrong with any seats at Q2 Stadium, except for one caveat—avoid section 228 if possible. These are mostly designated away seats for fans of the visiting team and you may be subjected to opposing chants and drums the entire match.
As for where to buy single match tickets, you have several options. The biggest marketplace is SeatGeek, the official ticketing partner of Austin FC. Besides the club releasing single match tickets on the site, season ticket members can list their own seats for sale on the app. Individual ticket holders also routinely offer their tickets on the Austin FC Fan Facebook group and Austin FC Reddit (r/AustinFC) forum.
