Austin FC season ticket renewals start for 2022 season

Season ticket membership renewals have been sent out to inaugural Oak Collective season ticket holders for the upcoming 2022 season.

Current members have a deadline of August 16th to opt out for next year.

With over 26,000 waitlist members, there are plenty of Verde fans waiting in the wings if any current members decline their seats for next year.

Any changes to ticket prices?

In a July 16th email to ticket holders, the club provided instructions to view their 2022 membership invoice in SeatGeek.

A complete pricing map for 2022 was not published like it was in 2021, so it’s unknown how much pricing has changed across the different seat options.

In our small sample, individual North End seat prices increased nearly $40 compared to 2021. We won’t know if pricing possibly includes an extra game, or other event, next year to account for the rise in price until the full match schedule is released. Price increase amounts may also vary based on seat location in the stadium.

Regardless of the higher price tag in 2022, the entire stadium will most surely be sold out for all home games in its second year of existence.

Future Austin FC stadium expansion

There’s still the question of Austin FC expanding the stadium prior to the 2022 season. Design plans accommodate for a future expansion of approximately 1,500 seats on the North End, according to the club.

In our opinion the club is no rush to start new construction on the stadium right away, instead ATXFC will likely add seats in an off-season a couple years down the road after several seasons of play are under their belt.

To be honest, with such a big waitlist for season tickets the club could double the size of the stadium and still sell it out.
