The MLS is Back tournament will start on July 8. As a sign of the times, the medical news and onsite conditions are as much of a story as the tournament itself. Andrew Wiebe also weighed in with his predictions on group play.

St. David’s Performance Center Groundbreaking

The formal groundbreaking for the St. David’s Performance Center took place on June 22. Chris Bils has the story on the groundbreaking and expected completion of the project in March 2021.

Pflugerville City Council Member Rudy Metayer stopped by to share his perspective on Austin FC’s recent statement on the club’s commitment to racial justice. He also discussed his views on the local soccer scene as a soccer parent, official and former player.
