In anticipation of the release of EA Sports FC 24 on Sept. 29, MLS revealed the ratings of the league’s biggest players.
Don’t Call It FIFA 24
New brand EA Sports FC emerged from the ashes of a 20-year deal with FIFA. To keep the popular game alive and kicking for 2024, EA made their own deals to be able to feature 19,000+ players across 700+ teams in over 30 leagues, including Major League Soccer.

EAFC 24 Top 5 Austin FC players
No surprise that Sebastián Driussi outpaces all others wearing Verde in the overall ratings department. League-wide D10R stacks up tied 11th among the top 24. By position, our own Driussi landed in the top 5 of Center Attacking Midfielders, in a group led by Thiago Almada (79), Charles Gil (79), and Emanuel Reynoso (79).
Here are the top-rated Austin FC players in EA Sports’ list.
Player | FC 24 Rating |
Sebastián Driussi | 78 |
Emiliano Rigoni | 72 |
Matt Hedges | 70 |
Alexander Ring | 70 |
Gyasi Zardes | 70 |
Of course, Austin FC’s media team had a little fun with the moment by showing some players their 2024 ratings for the first time. Maxi Urruti walked around St. David’s PC with a camera in tow to capture players’ reactions to their cards.
Jonny “PEEP PEEP” Gallagher felt he was done dirty by an FC 24 overall rating of 64. The last straw for the MLS All-Star was seeing his 61 Physical rating, before depositing the oversized ratings card into the trash can. Seba Driussi, Jhojan Valencia, Owen Wolff, and Dani Pereira also couldn’t escape Urruti’s shenanigans in the video.
