Season ticket prices for 5 MLS clubs that compare to Austin FC

Austin FC hasn’t officially announced ticket prices yet for their inaugural season in 2021.

The mystery is killing us, so we did the next best thing. We compared 2020 season ticket prices for the three newest MLS clubs: FC Cincinnati (2019), Inter Miami CF (2020), and Nashville SC (2020); plus the two Texas teams, FC Dallas and Houston Dynamo, for good measure.

Supporters section prices:

  • FC Cincinnati—N/A
  • FC Dallas—$340
  • Houston Dynamo—N/A
  • Inter Miami CF—$425
  • Nashville SC—$425

How will Austin FC ticket prices compare?

We know from previous comments by the club’s front office that Austin FC season ticket cost for general and supporters sections will be $48 or less per match—FYI, MLS announced there are 17 home matches in the 2020 season.

Austin FC will probably reveal exact pricing for all seating categories in early 2020.

We wouldn’t be surprised if seats for the supporters section are upwards of $400 and the median price of tickets overall is in the $900-$1,000 range. This pricing would align with the new MLS clubs (see below) as well as pricing of other pro sports in Austin. Houston and Dallas generally have lower prices because they are desperate to increase fan attendance.

Note: new MLS clubs included in the graphic will move to brand new, soccer-specific stadiums in the future.
